Henry is 6 months old! Well, a little older now I have been a slacker with posting lately! Here are some shots from his six month day:
In this last picture he is sitting on his own! He can do it sometimes. He falls over usually but he can also hold it for a few seconds. Henry just gets more and more fun. He is starting to eat more baby foods. So far he has eaten: Peas, Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, Peaches, Pears, Bananas. He hasn't rejected any food that we have given him yet so thats good. He is such a sweet boy. He is very shy. He will catch your eye and then smile his shy smile and then bury his face away. Cracks me up! He loves talking to inanimate objects and gets the biggest grins on his face. He doesn't reach out his arms to be held yet, however his face lights up and he kicks his legs. When he gets excited he well stand up on his tip toes and spread his arms out.
Interesting fact: He doesn't like church/classical music. Whenever we go into Sacrament meeting and they start singing he will put his lip out and start crying. Not sure what the deal is. But, when I take him to my workout class with the hip hop music blasting, he falls asleep!! Crazy kid. :)
He hasn't gotten any more teeth yet. So just the two on the bottom. Its way cute when he smiles or laughs. He loves to play hide and seek. Or 'Where is Henry?' as we have come to call it. He likes to play with Grandma Sue singing 'The wheels on the bus' and 'patty cake'. He is still very animated with his eyebrows. And... he has actually got hair!! I mean, its no longer peach fuzz. It is coming in dark brown.
We went to the doctor for his 6 month check up. He weighs close to 19 pounds and is in the 75th percentile for weight. I can't remember his height but it is right on track. The doctor said that his height and weight are both very proportional. He is a wiggle bug but I love it! And his eye color is officially hazel. :) Brown with an outline of blue. He is starting to respond to his name. When we say it he will look around until he finds... well someone. Not always the person that said his name. Oh well... baby steps. :)
